About

I have worked for CAD software developers as well as building design professionals. As a freelancer, I have also worked with a range of CGI companies and CAD users. I started my CAD career in 1981, joining Applied Research of Cambridge, authors of GDS CAD, a major pioneering program in the early days of CAD.

In an ever changing world of software development, I also endevour to keep up to date with the latest trends in CAD/CGI and always look for software that has an inbuilt scripting environment to further my customisation skills.

I studied Architecture at Manchester Polytechnic achieving the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture BA (Hons) ARCH gained in June 1977.
  • Diploma in Architecture gained in June 1980.
  • Professional Practice and exemption from RIBA Part III gained in July 1981.

I am registered as an Architect with ARB.
